For 30 years, Lee Sepanek has decorated his Phoenix, Arizona home for Christmas.<\/p>\n

Over time, Sepanek\u2019s decorations have become a local tradition<\/a>, with people driving from all over the state to take a gander at his house decked out with dazzling Christmas trees and illuminated candy canes, he told AZFamily.<\/p>\n

He even sold cookies and hot cocoa to warm the spirits of all who visited (and, of course, help fund his electricity bills.)<\/p>\n

But there will be no lights at Sepanek\u2019s home this Christmas.<\/p>\n

Instead, for the first time in three decades, Sepanek won\u2019t be putting up any decorations at all<\/a>, he wrote on a GoFundMe page.<\/p>\n

\u00a0That\u2019s because he says neighbors complained to Phoenix city officials about the congestion of cars and traffic his festive decoration brings.<\/div>\n
